Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer who is proficient in Node.js, Nest.js, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend development and be able to create efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions. You will be working closely with our frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software products.

Your skills and experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Develop backend components, microservices, and APIs using Node.js and Nest.js.
• Implement and manage databases using MongoDB.
• Work collaboratively with the frontend team to integrate user-facing elements.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance your skills and our products.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and server-side JavaScript development.
• Experience with Nest.js for server-side rendering and building APIs.
• Experience with LLM Models and prompting
• Proficiency in MongoDB and database design.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with Auth0 and Lucia for Authentication
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud services such as Netlify and AWS
• Familiarity with other backend languages and frameworks.
• Understanding of agile methodologies.
• Quick leaner
• Good spoken English
