Automation Tester (QA)

Job description

Test Automation:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and
  frameworks.
• Implement and maintain automated test suites for web applications using Selenium and mobile
  applications using Appium.

Test Planning and Strategy:

• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on risk and business impact.
• Document and maintain automated test scripts, test cases, and test results.
• Provide clear and detailed reports on testing progress, results, and issues.
• Conduct testing of RESTful
• Create automated tests for API endpoints to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance

Documentation:

• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing cycles.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Technology Stack:

• Solid understanding of .NET framework for automation scripting
• Proficient in using Selenium for web application testing and Appium for mobile application
  testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Work with build and deployment teams to automate testing within the development workflow.
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman and Fiddler.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries for back-end database testing.
• Validate data integrity and accuracy by interacting with SQL databases.

Communication Skills:

• Good mentoring skills and previous experience with mentoring other members - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical
  stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand software requirements and ensure effective test coverage.

Your skills and experience

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3 years) as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of .NET, Selenium, Appium, SQL, REST, and SOAP.
• Experience with testing methodologies, testing types, and software development life-cycles.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
• Additional Skills (Preferred):
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Fluent written and spoken English.
