AI-Powered Frontend Developer & Research Specialist

Job description

We are seeking an innovative professional to join our team in a dual role that combines frontend web development with AI research and implementation. This position will focus on creating cutting-edge web applications enhanced by AI technologies, particularly Large Language Models.

Responsibilities:

1. Frontend Development: 
   • Develop full-stack web applications using latest versions of ReactJS and NextJS
   • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using TypeScript
   • Build reusable components and utilize Tailwind CSS for responsive designs
   • Debug and troubleshoot issues in web applications
2. AI Research & Implementation: 
   • Conduct lightweight research on emerging AI tools and techniques, focusing on LLMs and NLP
   • Implement and fine-tune LLMs using platforms like OpenAI's GPT or Hugging Face Transformers
   • Develop and optimize prompts for LLMs to enhance web application functionality
   • Create proof-of-concept applications integrating AI capabilities into web interfaces
3. Integration & Innovation: 
   • Design and develop AI-powered features for web applications
   • Integrate AI models and algorithms into frontend solutions
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-enhanced web experiences
   • Conduct experiments to optimize AI implementations in web contexts
4. Documentation & Communication: 
   • Document research findings, implementation processes, and results
   • Contribute to technical reports and blog posts on AI-enhanced web development
   • Create presentations on AI implementations and their impact on web applications

Your skills and experience

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS, NextJS, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
• Experience with AI platforms and APIs such as OpenAI, Hugging Face
• Familiarity with Python and relevant AI libraries
• Familiarity with open-source LLMs like Meta's Llama
• Understanding of AI concepts, particularly in LLMs
• Experience with prompt engineering and optimization for LLMs
• Proficiency in using Jupyter notebooks for AI experimentation
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Three.js / React Three Fiber
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and ORMs like Drizzle-orm or Prisma
• Knowledge of AI-powered chatbots or conversational AI systems
• Experience with vector databases for semantic search applications
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and cloud platforms for AI deployment
