Our mission is to bring large-scale 3D engineering data into the digital era by transforming complex design files into highly visual, interactive 3D web experiences.

Job Description:

We are seeking a 3D Digital Transformation Engineer who will play a key role in building our 3D data processing and visualization platform. This role focuses on developing pipelines that convert heavy 3D design models into lightweight, interactive formats for web-based 3D viewers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop tools to extract geometric and attribute data from large-scale 3D design files and convert them into spatial databases.
• Implement data pipelines to transform spatial data into visualization-friendly formats such as 3D Tiles, glTF, etc.
• Optimize 3D data for streaming and rendering in commercial 3D viewers.
• Collaborate with back-end and front-end teams to integrate processed models into our visualization platform.
• Support data consistency and model integrity throughout the transformation process.

Your skills and experience

Requirements: 

• Strong experience in 3D programming or engineering software development.
• Proficiency in working with geometry and metadata from large-scale 3D engineering models.
• Experience with 3D data pipelines: parsing, transforming, and visualizing 3D data.
• Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS) and 3D web formats (3D Tiles, glTF).
• Good understanding of CAD/BIM/Plant design model structures (Piping, Equipment, Structural).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Preferred:

• Experience in shipbuilding or plant engineering data workflows.
• Knowledge of IFC, CityGML, or OGC standards is a plus.
• Experience with CesiumJS, Three.js, or other WebGL-based viewers is advantageous.
