Fantastic Environment and Friendliest Teammates Ever

What I liked:
I have been sincerely supported by the whole HR team right from day one. Despite being a new employee, I am encouraged to ask questions and contribute my ideas during meetings. This has really helped me in learning; the process is not as hard as it seems when you are supported by your supervisors who are always available for consultation.
Wide-Ranging Learning Opportunities: These various tasks I have engaged in have truly broaden my knowledge on HR functions. I have had the opportunity to be involved in recruitment processes; assist with onboarding and even make some contributions towards employee engagement initiatives. The exposure to different areas of HR has been great for my career development.
An Inclusive Corporate Culture: NFQ strongly emphasizes a positive and inclusive work culture. Regular events like our weekly happy hour with food and music do contribute largely to community building among employees. It’s wonderful how everyone is treated equally regardless of their position or role.
Professional Growth: Working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds has improved both my HR skills and interpersonal communication abilities as well. My communication skills, particularly English have greatly benefitted from daily practices that take place within this global community of learners.
Fair Payment: Even as an intern, I find the remuneration to be equitable and punctual; it makes me feel valued and motivates me to work harder.
I highly commend NFQ's love of overtime. I love how everyone keeps the atmosphere very fun and positive even when we are overtime working
Suggestions for improvement:
Being an HR intern, I would like to see more organized training programs focusing on various HR tools and software. For example, having practical sessions on human resource management systems could be very helpful for us interns who want to boost our technological knowledge in HR.
