A friendly and professional environment

What I liked:
Joining 8seneca as a Junior Developer in November 2024 has been a great start to my career. The colleagues here are genuinely friendly and always willing to help when I get stuck, which makes a huge difference when you're new. The work environment feels professional: workflows are clear, code review is taken seriously, and I'm learning a lot about how real engineering teams operate, not just how to write code. On top of that, the atmosphere is dynamic and open — the pace is energetic, there are activities throughout the year, and people are easy to talk to. It's a place where a junior can actually grow.
OT is not mandatory. When tight deadlines come up, the team plans ahead and the workload is shared reasonably across members.
Suggestions for improvement:
The overall workspace is good, but it can get a bit noisy at times, which makes it harder to focus on deep work. It would be great if the company could arrange a dedicated quiet zone or focus area for moments when developers need to concentrate without distractions. A small change like this could meaningfully improve productivity, especially during heavy coding or debugging sessions.
