Workplace and IT support Engineer

Job description

As a Workplace and IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues, escalating as necessary.
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Provide statistical reports on IT projects and service desk tickets.
• Manage and support end-user devices, ensuring proper configuration and security.
• Assist end-users with hardware and software issues.
• Help design project plans, coordinate UAT, and implement solutions.
• Provide feedback on IT workplace service delivery projects and changes.
• Contribute to the Knowledge Database and deliver training sessions.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve incidents and negative trends.
• Drive continuous improvements in your area of expertise while aligning with Group practices
• Perform additional IT tasks as assigned.

Your skills and experience

Requirement

• 3-5 years of experience in helpdesk/Azure/O365/workplace engineering.
• Must have experience with InTune, Azure, and Office 365 environments.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft AZ-104, MD-102, Cisco, CompTIA).
• Skills in automation tools such as PowerShell and scripting.
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Strong project management skills.
• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in technical writing and presentations.
• Excellent communication skills in English
