Job description

We are looking for a Full-Stack Shopify App Developer with expertise in AWS, React.js, PostgreSQL, and Shopify to develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance eCommerce applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building custom Shopify apps, integrating APIs, handling caching, and optimizing performance for scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps (public and private) with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. 
• Work with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL) to integrate third-party services and extend Shopify’s functionality. 
• Optimize Shopify storefront performance, including caching strategies, asset optimization, and Cloudflare/CDN configurations. 
• Ensure API rate limits compliance and implement efficient data retrieval strategies using queuing mechanisms. 
• Develop and maintain scalable back-end services using AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudFront) and PostgreSQL/MySQL. 
• Implement and manage Cloudflare configurations for performance optimization and security. 
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring high availability and reliability. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless e-Commerce experiences.

Your skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer. 
• Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify app development (public & private apps). 
• Full-stack development, including React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, Liquid, and CSS. 
• Back-end development skills, with experience in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudFront). 
• Expertise in Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL) and webhook management. 
• Experience with Cloudflare for performance optimization, security, and caching. 
• Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, CDN, browser caching) to optimize Shopify app performance. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under deadlines. 
• Good communication skills in English and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
• Proactive mindset with a passion for learning and improving Shopify solutions.
