Job description
Coder Trove is seeking a QA tester to join immediately working on a mix of Ecommerce Web, FinTech applications. Working closely with the QA/Delivery Manager you will be given regular training and support, and work in a fun and friendly team environment.
Your role:
- Analyze and understand business and technical requirements and work with the project manager
- Collaborate with the developers to test developed modules in a structured and successful way;
- Develop, execute and review test cases based on functional, technical and usability requirements;
- Create, execute and review test cases on functional and non-functional requirements;
- Manage and report on your own test deliverables and test execution;
- Create and manage defects along with evaluating severity and impact on the solution and scope;
- Implement API tests using Postman (preferred) or others.
- Plan and organize your own work and accurately report issues and progress in a timely manner;
- Report testing status and test results to superior accurately and in a timely manner
- Do other tasks requested by Project Manager
Your skills and experience
- Having a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field is helpful but not required.
- At least 3 years of experience in testing.
- Critical thinking and domain research & studying is important.
- Have a strong knowledge of testing methodologies & techniques and the defect reporting process.
- Have basic coding skills in any language.
- Able to understand well documents in English to collect requirements for TCs development.
- Candidate must be an enthusiastic and energetic person. He/she must be efficient, hardworking, team working and able to use good judgment.
- Problem solving, issue escalation skill and time management skills.
- Good communication skills (expression).
Nice to Have (But Not Required):
- Experience with Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with Git branching model.
- Willing to do manual or automation tests (API, e2e) when required.
- Willing and desire to learn and work as a SM/PM;
- Previous work with international teams and using English for communication.
