Job description

About the role:

The person taking up this position is expected to play the role of Project Manager, managing overall delivery for application development based on IT and OT-IT technology. This includes managing the resources such as Front-end Engineer, Back-end Engineer, and other resources to deliver project in a timely manner and of high quality. This is global role which will interact with global engineering team, global business development team, and other global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a cross functional team for the delivery in development and execute detailed project from start to closure in line with the client project requirements. 
• Study and understand the user story and convert them into project roadmap based on the priority.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams, business development, and stakeholders to align project goals and objectives
• Track the progress including the issues and report on a weekly/sprint basis to Management and Product Owner
• Proactively address project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution to avoid delays
• Track the quality issues, bugs, and work with Architect and Product Owner for permanent resolution to avoid re-open issues
• Effectively manage the overall execution, budgets for project base delivery
• Drive the adoption and implementation of Azure DevOps as a software development process tools, ensuring streamlined workflows
• Utilize Azure DevOps to generate Agile sprint reports, monitoring key performance metrics such as sprint performance, engineer utilization rates, engineer performance, engineer velocity, task burndown, and user stories (US) completeness.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure team adherence to Agile best practices

Your skills and experience

Requirements:

Key requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years in project management, with at least 3 years in IIoT area (SaaS/PaaS, Cloud-based Platform)
• Strong stakeholder management skill
• Proven experience in budget management and cost management
• Proven experience in managing a global team virtually
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and its software development processes.
• Strong experience in Agile methodology and generating comprehensive sprint performance reports using Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of IT/OT, and be able to communicate with business stakeholders and partners in this area
• Be able to coach and mentor junior team members and manage delivery acceleration, build a culture of innovation and thought leadership for IT and OT-IT area
