Job description

Do you have a passion for building enterprise systems? Would you like to be a part of the team that directly impacts the company's success, and supports the growth of our Core Insurance product? Join the ALPACA team as a Senior Quality Control! 

• Join our team as a Senior QC and contribute your best to test our Insurance core product
• Plan/ estimate project testing activities
• Work with the core product team to understand, identify and analyze requirements
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures
• Execute manual test, identify, report, and monitor deficiencies and issues via tracking tool (JIRA)
• Provide testing estimates and participate in project planning. 
• Define and implement QA processes
• Develop automation Testing from the beginning
• Supervise team members

Your skills and experience

• 4 - 10 years of experience in Manual testing
• Strong working knowledge of the QA review and testing process, designing test scenarios and test scripts, including understanding of various testing techniques
• Experience in SCRUM methodologies on Agile projects
• Experience in testing Web Services, APIs and Database
• Experience with test management tools (Jira)
• Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong logical reasoning skills
• Demonstrable leadership skills

Nice to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ IT or related major
• Good English skills in communication and documentation
• Financial services or insurance experience is a plus
• Experience with automated testing
• Experience performing compatibility, security and performance testing
• Knowledge of Cloud based applications with JSON/Web Services APIs
