Senior Fullstack Developer (NextJS/NodeJS/PostgreSQL)

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer with experience with video streaming platforms and e-commerce website development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and contribute to the product roadmap 
• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and resilient web applications using Node.js, Next.js, and other relevant technologies 
• Implement SEO optimization techniques to improve website visibility and organic search ranking 
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring optimal performance and reliability 
• Design and optimize database models and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval 
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS services (such as EC2, Lambda, S3, Cloudfront, Route53…) ensuring high availability and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues on time 
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve the platform

Your skills and experience

• Having experience in video streaming platforms is highly desired
• A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript ecosystem
• Proficiency with Next.js, including server-side rendering technique 
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices 
• Solid understanding of AWS services (particularly EC2, Lambda and S3)
• Proficiency in building large-scale websites and streaming platforms is highly desirable 
• Proficiency with databases and data modelling (e.g., GraphQL, SQL, NoSQL) 
• Experience implementing wireframe designs created in Figma by the UX team
• Experience with a wide variety of continuous integration and source control tools
• Proven track record of successfully implementing all project life cycle stages from requirements implementation and enhancements.
