Senior Front-End Engineer (VueJS, JavaScript)

Job description

• Vue.js Development: Lead the development of robust and scalable front-end applications using Vue.js (Vue 2 and/or Vue 3).
• Architecture & Design: Design and implement scalable and maintainable front-end architectures.
• Component Development: Build reusable and performant Vue.js components.
• API Integration: Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize front-end performance for speed and efficiency.
• Testing: Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Vue Test Utils).
• Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, back-end engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior front-end developers and share your knowledge and expertise. 

CI/CD: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployments.

Your skills and experience

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in front-end web development.
• Vue.js Expertise: Deep understanding of Vue.js (Vue 2 and/or Vue 3) and its ecosystem.
• JavaScript Proficiency: Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• HTML/CSS Expertise: Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• State Management: Proven experience with Vuex or Pinia.
• Routing: Experience with Vue Router.
• API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Testing: Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Vue Test Utils).
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Build Tools: Experience with build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 1   
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience with other front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
• Experience with TypeScript is a significant plus.
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) is a plus.

Experience with design systems and component libraries is a plus.
