We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Software Development In Test Engineer to help drive the automation testing efforts in our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by developing and maintaining robust and scalable automation frameworks. Your expertise in automation testing methodologies, tools, and best practices will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for test automation, continuous improvement, and optimizing our QA processes.If you are passionate about quality assurance, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of delivering successful automation solutions, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of our software development lifecycle.
Your Impact:
Test Automation Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Write and execute automated test scripts using various testing tools and frameworks Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery.
Test Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web, mobile, API and Data integration layer applications as needed.
Performance and Load Testing:
- Develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests to identify potential bottlenecks and ensure system reliability.
- Use tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar to simulate real-world usage and assess system performance under different conditions.
Quality Metrics and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on test coverage, defect density, and other key quality metrics; continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of test automation and processes.
Mentorship and Leadership:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SDETs and QA engineers.
Your skills and experience
Who You Are
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on test automation and quality assurance.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
