Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced and creative Remote Website UI Designer to join our innovation team. As a UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly website interfaces that enhance the online experience for our users. You'll work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of your design concepts, from concept to launch.
Responsibilities:
- Design visually appealing and user-friendly website interfaces for a wide range of projects
- Develop responsive designs for various devices and screen sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of design concepts
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback
- Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications using Figma
- Design components, such as icons, typography, color schemes, and layout templates
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and industry developments in UI design
Your skills and experience
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in web UI design
- Strong portfolio showcasing your web design skills and versatility
- Proficiency in designing for responsive web experiences
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS & Javascript
- Experience with design tools like Figma
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Proficiency in English: Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication within our distributed team.
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices
- Knowledge of modern frontend web tech like React & Tailwindcss
- Experience with design systems, such as Storybook
