Job description

Responsibilities for Data Scientist 

• Participate in the entire lifecycle of data science projects, from problem definition to solution delivery, and maintenance.
• Develop, test, and evaluate data hypotheses, methods, and models using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement scalable and robust data pipelines and systems.
• Stay updated on the latest research and trends in data science.
• Analyze client data and business needs to identify opportunities and propose data-driven solutions.
• Communicate and present your findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Lead data science projects as well as provide guidance/mentorship to junior data scientists.

Responsibilities for Data Analyst

• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain derived databases/data systems 
• Identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics 
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using necessary statistical techniques 
• Assist with the creation of regular analytic dashboards using standard tools if necessary 
• Support analytic needs of specific management or governance processes or operational areas 
• Work closely with data science project teams and process stakeholders to understand business and identify information needs 
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to the stakeholders 
• Collaborate, support and partner with teams across the enterprise 
• Contribute to more effective data practice, standards, training, and ongoing updates.

Your skills and experience

Requirements Data Scientist

• Have experience in leading data science team.
• Experience in Big Data, cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Familiar with working with Agile process.
• A deep understanding of a specific domain or industry vertical (insurance, logistics,…).
• Experience in Solution Design.
• Be able to communicate in Japanese.

Requirements Data Analyst

• Fluency in written and spoken English is a MUST 
• Proficiency in programming languages like SQL and/or Python 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information 
• Working experience in at least one vertical domain  
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio 
• Attention to detail and accuracy 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to report findings clearly 
• Working experience in healthcare or logistics domain is a big plus
