Job description

As a Product Design of Gearment, you must focus on the data to make decisions in building the UI/UX for every function, to keep our products at high quality. You need to align with your leaders to have the best setup and implementation.

• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Create intuitive, user-friendly UI/UX designs that adhere to the highest standards of usability and functionality. 
• Maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across all products within three months of hire.
• Conduct user research to understand behaviors, needs, and pain points.
• Analyze user feedback and experience metrics to refine designs and enhance usability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to align designs with business objectives.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
• Provide clear design documentation to bridge communication gaps with development teams, reducing issues by at least 20%.
• Monitor product performance post-launch to optimize usability and functionality.
• Propose and implement iterative improvements to elevate user satisfaction and product quality.
• Aim to enhance the Net Promoter Score (NPS) by 15% through strategic UI/UX updates.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect within the design team.
• Mentor team members, ensuring all have opportunities to contribute to key design decisions.
• Promote team morale by participating in team-building activities at least twice a year. 

Your skills and experience

• 2-3 years of experience as a Product Designer (or similar design role).
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
• Proficiency in prototyping and wireframing tools.
• Experience with user analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) for data-driven design decisions.
• Familiarity with responsive/adaptive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Knowledge of e-commerce and ERP workflows (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience delivering high-quality UI/UX designs for complex products.
• Track record of meeting deadlines, with at least 90% of deliverables completed on schedule.
• Experience with creating and maintaining scalable design systems.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Empathy for users and team members, with a user-centric mindset.
• Ability to take and implement constructive feedback to improve designs.
