Your responsibilities: 

  • Test Planning & Strategy: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing across web, mobile, and hybrid applications.
  • Automation Development: Build, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.) to improve test efficiency and coverage.
  • Manual Testing: Perform hands-on manual testing to identify issues, validate functionalities, and verify defect fixes in web and mobile applications.
  • Continuous Integration & Delivery: Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration (CI) pipelines and support agile development practices.
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, and manage defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure testing activities align with product releases and business goals.
  • Test Environment Management: Set up, manage, and maintain test environments, ensuring accurate test data is available for various testing scenarios.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, offering advice on test approaches, tools, and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve overall testing effectiveness and team productivity.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed test documentation, including test cases, test results, and test plans, to ensure transparency and traceability of testing activities.

Your skills and experience

Your Skills and Experience

  • This role is Hybrid QA which means we required both Manual and Automation experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, 
  • Expertise in manual and automated testing techniques, with a solid understanding of test frameworks and tools (Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.) for test automation.
  • Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a bonus
  • Upper-intermediate English skill
