Job description
Technical Leadership:
- Lead by example, setting high standards for code quality, practices, and overall technical excellence.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical mastery within the team.
- Continuously assess and enhance development processes, tools, and practices to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Identify and implement opportunities for optimization within the team.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
Risk Management:
- Proactively identify and address potential technical risks early in the project lifecycle.
- Anticipate challenges related to technology, resources, or dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Technical Vision and Strategy:
- Provide technical guidance for the project, helping to select suitable technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Support the development of a technical roadmap aligned with project goals and business needs.
- Collaborate with other Technical Leaders and the CTO to contribute to long-term strategy discussions.
Architecture Design:
- Design the software solution’s architecture, ensuring it meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Make informed decisions regarding system components, interfaces, data management, and scalability.
Guidance and Mentorship:
-Adhere to company and project guidelines and standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the development team, assisting members with technical challenges, skill improvement, and adherence to best practices.
- Facilitate code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote continuous learning.
Communication:
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication across teams.
- Translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely, accurate reporting on technical progress and challenges.
Project Planning and Estimation:
- Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to plan and accurately estimate technical tasks, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Manage dependencies and ensure commitments are met with timely delivery.
Quality Assurance:
- Oversee and implement effective testing strategies and quality assurance processes to maintain high software quality.
- Supervise testing activities, including unit, integration, and system testing, ensuring the software meets specified standards.
Technical skills required:
- Must have great experiences with server-side languages Python, JS, PHP
- Must have good experiences working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RethinkDB, etc
- Know how to use open source CMS such as Wordpress or Drupal and develop the API base on such
- Must know how to work with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Must know how to interact with APIs and the external 3rd party services when needed such as Stripe, Paypal, Twilio.
- Good knowledge of leading-edge technology such as ReactJS, Typescript, NPM, Webpack, Gulp, Composer
- Must have the knowledge and pay attention to some quality aspects of the project such as Code Optimization, Database Optimization, Security, Unit Testing
- Experience in debug and fix issues of software
- Write unit tests for BE code and FE code, and monitor tests for APIs.
- Ability to lead and mentor the technical team, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
Your skills and experience
Key Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in full-stack technical leader
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Passionate about making web or cross-platform application
- Have high responsibility for his works with careful unit testing
- A fast and detail oriented developer
- Professional in English.
- Experience with system architecture design for scalable web applications.
- Creative problem solver with the ability to work to tight deadliness
- Managing team member
