Fullstack Developer (Blockchain/ReactJS/NextJS/NodeJS)

Job description

• Seeking an independent self-driven learner, who can actively test and iterate on simple problems without significant input. You should also be comfortable with rapid iteration and learning new concepts, with clear communication skills and attention to detail. Even if you do not have all the skills / years of experience necessary, we invite you to apply if you can effectively work in an autonomous manner.
• You will be working directly with the CTO and Co-Founder in a prediction market startup focusing on creating and aggregating cutting edge services and tools. We will start you off with simpler tasks, which we would expect you to be able to accomplish independently. Focus of the tasks would be primarily on the backend.
• Given your work performance and demonstrated ability, taking on more complex work down the line will be rewarded financially.
• We are a 100% remote only team and we trust our team members to use their time independently to successfully accomplish the tasks that they are in charge of. 

Your skills and experience

Clear Communication Ability

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English

Smart Contract Development

• Strong foundation in Solidity and EVM development
• Understanding of prediction markets and UMA protocol
• Experience with Web3 libraries and wallet integrations
• Data indexing of relevant events

Fullstack Development

• Next.js 14+ (App Router) and React expertise
• Node.js backend development and API design
• PostgreSQL database management
• Experience building responsive, production-grade applications

Nice to Have

• Previous DeFi/prediction market platform experience
• Social platform integration (Twitter, Discord)
• Gamification and user engagement system design
• Familiarity with AI development tools (Claude, GPT)

Tech Stack

• Frontend: Next.js, React
• Backend: Node.js, PostgreSQL
• Blockchain: EVM, UMA Protocol, ethers.js
