Job Description

• A Solution Architect designs and oversees the technical solutions for specific projects, ensuring alignment with business needs. They collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and work with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of the designed solution. Their role is pivotal in a project as they ensure that the technical solution designed meets the business needs and is successfully implemented, impacting the project by ensuring its success and alignment with strategic objectives.

Your skills and experience

Must have:

• IT experience: At least 8 years working in software application development and open to be hands-on new unpopular frameworks/tech-stacks/domains. Have designed themselves complex solutions for external customers (> $US 1 million budget), not just implementing.

• Programming language: Proficient in one of following programming languages: SQL, Java, Scala, Go, Zig, C#, Python and open to be hands-on new unpopular programming languages quickly.

• Cloud: At least 3 years working with AWS, Azure or GCP (have experience to use Cloud service in specific area).

• In-depth understanding of Cloud infrastructure: network, compute, storage…

• Well knowledge of data fundamental: data storages, data pipeline, data format…

• Well knowledge and experience of IAC and automation scripting

• Well knowledge of IaaS, PaaS option for application development and optimization

• Well knowledge of container (k8s), micro-service, event base architecture

• Well knowledge with Cloud cost, Cloud security

• Well knowledge of Cloud monitoring and optimization framework

• Communication: Proficient in proposal development, presentation/pitching in English.

• Holistic Understanding: Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s IT and strategic objectives.

• Technical Proficiency: Has deep technical knowledge in multiple areas and can design solutions that integrate various technologies

• Stakeholder Engagement: Engages with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and provide recommendations.

• Solution Design: Designs robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that meet business needs while considering constraints such as cost and timeline.

• Continuous Learning: Stays updated with the latest technologies, methodologies, and best practices to ensure the organization is leveraging the best tools available.

• Problem Solving: Can identify potential challenges and proactively design solutions to address them.

• Governance & Compliance: Ensures that solutions adhere to organizational standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Hard Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in multiple technologies, platforms, and programming languages.

• Integration: Knowledge of how different systems and applications can be integrated to create cohesive solutions.

• Database Design: Understands database design and management, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.

• Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and understanding of cloud-native solutions.

• Security: Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and how to incorporate them into solution design.

• Infrastructure: Understanding of IT infrastructure components and how they support solution architecture.

• API Design: Knowledge of API design and integration. Performance Optimization: Ability to design solutions that are optimized for performance and scalability.

Soft Skills:

• Active listening: Ability to pay full attention to what is being said for the primary purpose of understanding the speaker.

• Research: Ability to find an answer to a question or a solution to a problem including the ability to gather information about a topic, review that information and analyze and interpret the details in a way to support a solution

• Communication: Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Analytical Thinking: Can analyze complex problems and design effective solutions.

• Stakeholder Management: Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
