Job description

Merchant Mate is developing a Merchant POS apps with a diverse functionality and a variety of modules including inventory management, Time management, services and appointments, e-marketing, online marketplace and much more.  We are looking for a dynamic business analysist based in our Ho Chi Minh operation, who can study analyse, design and improve the business requirements and interface with the developer and product manager to help MerchantMate to deliver a product that delivers the expected value to the users and help businesses to increase productivity. The product is quite in the final stages of development and as a business analyst, you should be hands on in analysing, designing and improving the systems. The knowledge of designing and modifying the UI/UX will be a added advantage. The prerequisite for the job is that you must be proficient in English and Vietnamese languages.

Responsibilities:

• Data collection and Bench Marking
• Interact with the stakeholders and collect valid information about business needs, process flow and 
• Collect further market information from competitors and do bench marking studies to improve and create competitiveness 
• Study the existing system and generate professional reports and optimized proposal to seek improvements and new designs 

Specification and Documentation

• Based on your study and discussion with stakeholders, developers and product managers create specification and documentation 
• The solution proposed should be compatible with organisational resources and capabilities and at the same time must create value for the user in an optimised manner. 
• Propose and prepare UI/UX new design modification for backend and mobile apps that are web-based, Android and iOS platforms 
• Create detailed documents for different teams such as Product owner, developers and testers

Project coordination and monitoring

• Play in important role in the required meeting with the developer to make the understand the project specification
• Monitor the development and testing stages using Agile project management tools 
• Coordinate with tester to ensure that project and test cases specification are met functionally and aesthetically

Your skills and experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficient in speaking and writing English is must 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and experience in data collection and bench marking techniques
• Knowledge of UI and UX in general and advanced requirements for better user experience.
• Experience working with Zira desirable
• Ability to work as a team member and impress upon your positive points.
• Experience with UI/UX design using Figma or any other graphics tools
