In this role, you’ll build and operate data systems driving disruptive products, collaborate with a skilled development team, and provide technical insights to influence business and product decisions. What will you do?

• Supporting business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed
• Monitoring data performance and modifying infrastructure as required.
• Collect and process raw data at scale for various projects and initiatives.
• Build and maintain systems for storing and processing large-scale data.
• Develop scalable and reliable ETL pipelines to ingest and process diverse data types (structured, semi-structured, traffic, etc.) from multiple sources.
• Work with the engineering team to integrate data pipelines into production systems.
• Monitor data infrastructure performance and apply improvements as needed. 

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented or functional programming languages (e.g., Python).
• Basic knowledge of big data tools and frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
• Understanding of data processing pipelines, including batch and stream processing.  Familiarity with Linux-based systems.
• Exposure to distributed data processing and storage solutions (e.g., Airflow, dbt,...).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data and software issues.
• Good English communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Familiarity with monitoring and optimizing data systems for performance is a plus.
