Job description

Four Hands, a leader in lifestyle home furnishings, is looking for a BI Supervisor. The BI Supervisor, International will report to the International Product Development Operations and Analytics Manager, International and lead a team of BI Analysts who support International Operations through the design, development and maintenance of reports and dashboards in Power BI. Working within the International Product Data & Analytics team, the role will actively engage with key stakeholders and process owners to oversee and engage in the build of the reports and data flows. This role requires a leader willing to take initiative and who has a strong background in business analytics, data modeling and Power BI.

In This Role:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the International BI team’s activities, in alignment with the needs of senior management and overall company objectives.
• Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts to critically review and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Evaluate cross-departmental business needs and implications, incorporating them into the specifications.
• Oversee and guide the team members throughout the projects, communicating to stakeholders as needed throughout the project.
• Build strong, positive, and collaborative relationships with other teams, departments and within the International BI team itself.

Your skills and experience

• 4+ years’ experience with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervision role.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, where you can focus on the details without losing site of the “bigger picture”.
• Ability to understand business questions/requests and be able to suggest proper BI solutions which are measurable and scalable.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (English proficiency required).
• Adaptability and problem-solving are paramount skills.
• Proficiency in Power BI – the ability to advise and troubleshoot with the team is essential.
• Proficiency in SQL – the ability to do code reviews with the team is essential, along with writing your own queries.
• Domain knowledge is advantageous – Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality.
• Familiarity with KNIME is advantageous.
