Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Node.js and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to promote skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our development processes and solutions.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of software development
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and related concepts.
- Experience with modern web development frameworks/libraries such as Express.js, Nest.js, or similar.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and proficiency in writing efficient database queries.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices or other Cloud technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
