Job description

This position is for a Senior Java Developer to join our CodeHQ Vietnam team in HCMC (Quan 12).

You will be part of an exciting team composed of both local and offshore talent, working on challenging software projects for our New Zealand clients.

Interviews are online or optionally at our CodeHQ office in QTSC, District 12.

Your skills and experience

Essential dev skills:

• Strong Java backend skills
  • Java 17 and above 
  • Spring boot framework
• Experience with Event Driven technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ or similar.
• Experience in developing modern cloud native RESTful microservices.
• Able to produce clean and readable code.

Preferred dev skills:

• Frontend development with Reactjs
• HELM charts for CI/CD deployment automation.
• Unit testing, integration testing for B/E and F/E development.
• Experience working in a container orchestration platform like Kurbenetes and OpenShift
• Experience working in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience working in Linux 

Essential soft skills:

• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written. IELTS certification preferred.
• Strong team player, positive attitude, and professionalism.
• 5+ years’ practical experience in designing, developing and delivering commercial software applications
