Job description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Principal AI Engineer based in Hanoi.

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance solutions tailored to AI workloads. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to tackle complex R&D challenges in the AI high-performance computing (HPC) domain.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, computer system, AI, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python
• Solid experience with CUDA, OpenCL, or HIP
• In-depth understanding of computer systems
• Extensive experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, including internal structures
• Ability to conduct detailed logical and quantitative software performance analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
• Experience leading AI projects and mentoring junior team members

Preferential:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, computer system, AI, or related field
• Strong expertise in CUDA, OpenCL, or HIP
• 2+ years experience in developing system software for GPUs/NPUs
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills
• Contributions to research communities, with publications in major conferences such as ASPLOS, HPDC, ISCA, MICRO, PACT, PLDI, PPoPP, or SC.
