Job description
- Collaborate in project teams to test developed applications in a structured and successful manner.
- Develop, execute, and review test cases based on functional, non-functional, technical, and usability requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive quality assurance testing, including functional testing, API testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
- Manage and report on your own test deliverables and test execution.
- Create and manage defects, evaluating severity and impact on the solution and scope.
- Take responsibility for certifying the quality of the solution.
- Plan and organize your own work and accurately report issues and progress in a timely manner.
- Identify areas for personal development.
- Establish and maintain quality metrics and reporting mechanisms to track defects, test coverage, and overall software quality.
Your skills and experience
- Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Experience in functional tests, API tests, performance tests, and test automation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Alignment with company and team goals, and ability to adapt to changes with an engineering mindset.
- Nice To Have:
- Experience or knowledge in manual and automated testing with Playwright.
- Familiarity with JIRA, TeamCity, and Git.
- A plus if able to write automation using scripting languages (such as bash shell, PowerShell, Python, etc.) or programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript/C# or Go.
