Job description

Development

• Develop high-quality web applications by analyzing client requirements and producing clean, efficient code.
• Development & Maintenance of web application systems with a large user base.

Testing, Debugging, and Troubleshooting

• Conduct thorough testing of web applications to identify and resolve bugs or issues.
• Work closely with the QC team to ensure application quality and reliability.

Security and Compliance

• Implement security best practices to protect web applications from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

Documentation

• Create and maintain technical documentation in the project using English, including code comments and guides for non-tech persons.
• Maintenance of up-to-date documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Collaboration and Communication

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Continuous Learning

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development.
• Continuously improve coding skills and adopt best practices for efficient development.

Your skills and experience

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Education: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Required Tech Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a web developer with a solid understanding of web technologies.
• Practical experience in Java frameworks & libraries: JavaCore, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience with Python, Serverless Framework.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience applying security practices in software development.
• Experience in JUnit, pytest as part of CI/CD operations.
• Experience with database systems like MySQL or MongoDB.
• Solid knowledge of version control tools, preferably Git.
• Ability to work with third-party APIs and services.
• Proficiency in working with Linux environments.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good English language skills for both reading and writing.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of the Agile methodology (Scrum).
• Experience in developing large-scale mission-critical systems.
• Experience in Node.js and Express.js (TypeScript).
• Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
• Experience in cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (EC2, ECS Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB,...).
• Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy,...).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Understanding of security best practices in web development.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification is a big plus.
