Senior/Leader Backend Developer (PHP/ Python/ SQL)

Job description

• Analyze requirements, design, programming and perform testing based on design.
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research and investigation.
• Lead a team of developers and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Python, Java, JavaScript…
• Experience working with AWS services is a big plus
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Extensive experience with web application development frameworks (e.g., Spring, Django, React…).
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
