Java Developer (J2EE, Database)

Job description

Established 50 years ago (1973) in the industrial, insurance and service sectors, INFASS  Systèmes builds applications using JAVA/JEE and Internet technologies. Our company is  particularly specialized in the insurance and oil industries. 

Our production teams are based in France at Montgeron (91), Tours (37), Strasbourg (67) and  Clermont-Ferrand (63).  

Our customers are major accounts and SMEs based in France and Europe, for whom we design  and develop innovative strategic applications. 

• Participate in the development of new applications and ensure their maintenance in the  Java J2EE language: 
• Writing clean & high-quality code 
• Maintain & improve running- functionality as well as design and develop new  system, new feature if needed 
• Maintain documentation required for long-term maintenance in compliance with established standards 
• Participate in operations pre-integration, testing phase, deployment and  maintenance of applications. 
• Troubleshoot users’ feedback and resolve issues. 
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
   

Your skills and experience

• Must be fluent in French, speaking and writing. 
• Engineering degree in Computer science/ Information Technology or a related field. 
• Fresher to 5+ years of experience in Java development 
• Good knowledge of 2EE architecture, JAVA, HTML, database, Eclipse. 
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriental Programming, Designs Patterns, Data Structures &  Algorithms. 
• Good communication and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Location and working hours 

• Afternoons are compatible with mornings in France: 
• From 9am to 1pm and 3pm to 7pm November to March 
• From 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm from April to September. 
• From Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, no OT. 

Compensation 

• Starting salary between 800 € (20,578,000 VND) (for fresher/junior) and 2000 € (51,445,000  VND) (for senior) per month. 
• 13th month salary. 
• 100% employer-sponsored health insurance (Bao Viet) 

Leaves 

• 14 days paid annual leave. 
• 11 annual public holidays in accordance with current legislation. 

Interview process : 

• Interview + Technical test in French 
• Final Interview with HR and General Director
