Job description

The company's flagship product is a web-based application designed to manage large-scale media libraries (photos, videos, audio files, documents…). As a direct result of 15+ years of independent R&D, Cortex is the most flexible DAM on the market. The solution has been chosen by clients to manage their large digital assets libraries.

MISSION

You will have the opportunity to focus on the aspects of the job that you enjoy the most. Specifically, you will:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware and software for corporate workstations (Windows and Mac)
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory of hardware assets
  • Perform troubleshooting on computers and network using different diagnostic techniques 
  • Work with HR to onboard and offboard employees including such tasks as: account creation, suspension, changes to security or department structure
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve
  • Create and maintain technical documentation concerning installation/maintenance of software, hardware configurations, and recurring problems
  • Serve as initial contact point (Tier 1-2 support), if required escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Knowledge and experience with remote workstation management (RDP, VNC, Teamviewer, etc)
  • Working knowledge of a centralized, directory-based infrastructure (JumpCloud)
  • Assist in testing new technology (Software Updates and new programs for compatibility and performance)
  • Create, maintain, and update computer images according to organizational standards and security requirements
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Your skills and experience

The most successful candidates for this role will have: 

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written & oral) in both English and Vietnamese
  • A technical, systematic, and logical thought process
  • Problem-solving skills
  • An ability to stick to strict deadlines
  • An ability to prioritize
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to multi-task and track multiple objectives, goals, and projects concurrently 

 

Nice to have:

Experience with the following systems and technologies:

  • Windows and MacOS certifications
  • Knowledge/Experience with the following products: Crowdstrike, Automox, Z-Scaler, Rapid 7, Beyond Trust, SnipeIT
  • Google Workspace
  • Basic troubleshooting Linux OS (Ubuntu, Debian)
  • MDM/UEM systems (JumpCloud, InTune, Jamf)
  • Knowledge or experience troubleshooting SSO (SAML, OIDC, SCIM)
  • Familiarity with Apple Configurator and automated software deployment (Munki)
  • Microsoft Office Products
