WordPress Developer (PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

Job description

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with a strong PHP background to develop, customize, and optimize WordPress websites. The candidate will work closely with our development team to build high-performance, secure, and user-friendly websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites based on project requirements.
• Write, modify, and optimize PHP code within WordPress (themes, plugins, functions).
• Design and develop custom WordPress themes or modify existing themes as needed.
• Develop and customize WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality.
• Build custom APIs and integrate third-party APIs into WordPress systems.
• Optimize website speed and performance (cache, minify, database optimization, etc.).
• Perform security audits and ensure website security.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues.
• Improve on-page SEO, optimize site structure, URLs, meta tags, sitemaps, and internal linking.
• Deploy and maintain websites on hosting platforms, VPS, or servers.

Your skills and experience

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working with WordPress & PHP.
• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery, AJAX).
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture with experience in theme and plugin customization.
• Knowledgeable in UI/UX, capable of modifying and optimizing website interfaces for better user experience.
• Familiar with WooCommerce, Elementor, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), etc.
• Understanding of REST API, JSON, and AJAX.
• Experience in SEO optimization, CDN, caching, minification, lazy loading, and image optimization.
• Familiar with Git/GitHub or other version control systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of DevOps principles is a plus.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to self-learn and stay updated with new technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
