Job description
- Design, implementation, maintenance and operation of the AWS Cloud Platform infrastructure for our solutions, including Landing Zone, security, observability and IAM
- Creation and implementation of automated infrastructure provisioning, taking into account performance, stability, security and financial aspects
- Expansion and continuous improvement of the AWS framework
- Design and implementation of automation and backend processing tasks to operate these solutions serverless
- Support in migrating workloads from on-premises to the AWS cloud and analyzing further improvement points for global precision services
- AWS cloud knowledge transfer to support a successful cloud transformation
Your skills and experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in a similar field paired with in-depth knowledge in cloud services AWS
- Experienced with the AWS framework and its practical use
- Knowledge of AWS governance, security, compliance, and cost management
- Good understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and services, including VPC, Compute, Storage, Networking, LB, DNS
- Competence in handling the serverless paradigm and AWS platform services
- Technical competence in the environment of Amazon Web Services, cloud infrastructure design, landing zones, automation, and monitoring
- Knowledge in infrastructure-as-code (IAC) with Terraform
- Hands-on experience with programming or scripting languages, such as Python
- Good English skills in speaking and writing. German language skills are an advantage
