Why does ITviec review my CV?
ITviec reviews CVs based on specific criteria to help increase your chances of a successful application.
What are the CV screening criteria at ITviec?
ITviec’s CV screening criteria include:
+ Having a degree or certificate in IT or a related field: CVs should show relevant qualifications to verify the applicant’s technical knowledge.
+ Having real-world working experience in IT: For candidates without relevant certificates, practical work experience in the field will be used as a verification criterion.
+ Clear and structured CV formatting: The CV must be well-organized, include job descriptions for each role, and not be an empty file.
+ One account per applicant: ITviec recommends one account for one applicant. Shared accounts across multiple applicants will be considered invalid.Meeting the above criteria increases the chance of approval. You can refer to top-rated CV templates here.
How long does ITviec take to review a CV?
The CV review process takes up to 24 hours. You will receive an email from ITviec once your CV has been reviewed.
Does ITviec review my CV every time I apply?
No, ITviec does not review your CV again if you apply with a previously approved CV. If you apply with a new CV, ITviec will review the updated version to ensure it still meets the criteria before it’s sent to the employer.
Why is my CV labeled as “Fresher”?
The “Fresher” label is assigned to CVs with little or no professional experience in the IT industry. This is based on the work experience you list in your CV.
How can I apply for experienced positions if my CV is labeled “Fresher”?
Gain more experience, update your CV, and upload a new version when reapplying after the date indicated in the email. Your updated CV will then be reviewed for experienced roles.
What does the application status “Application Unsuccessful” mean?
This status occurs in the following two cases:
Case 1: You’re applying for a position that requires experience, but your CV is labeled “Fresher.” Apply for jobs marked “Fresher Accepted” or use ITviec’s filter to find suitable roles. If you wish to apply for experienced roles, gain more experience and upload an updated CV when reapplying after the date noted in the email.
Case 2: Your CV does not meet the screening criteria. Please improve and upload a revised CV when reapplying after the date indicated in the email.
If my application shows “Application Unsuccessful,” will ITviec review it again after I update my CV and reapply?
Yes, ITviec is happy to review your CV again starting from the date noted in the email. Make sure your updated CV meets the screening criteria to improve your chances of approval.
