Job description

Job Purpose

The Site Reliability Engineer is responsible to handle all kind of incidents (security or non-security in his/her domains to recover services as fast as possible & comply to processes; proactively identify potential risks/weaknesses and implement enhancements to ensure consistent performance and reliability of services.

Key Accountabilities (1)

·       Co-operate with Dev & Ops & Security functions to study & deep understand TCB’s Apps/Infras/Security.

·       Daily onsite (by 24/7 shift) to monitor & response (L1/L2) to all kind of security or non-security events/incidents as quickly as possible (real-time) based on defined runbooks & tools.

·       Define and develop scenario, run books and automation pipelines to handle security or non-security issues & incidents.

·       Periodically review and assess applications/infras/security to identify potential risks/weaknesses and implement remediation plans to improve resilience of services.

·       Proactively identify & build/optimize monitoring matrixes for security or non-security.

·       Orient, analyze and evaluate new technology trends in order to apply to increase resilience level of services.

·       Ensure that the unit's activities comply with internal policies, regulations, processes, guidelines... and service quality commitments (SLAs).

·       Identify risks of the unit during its operation, coordinate with relevant units to develop methods of risk measurement, assessment and mitigation; overcome and improve the risk points of the entity.

·       Report periodically to the Manager of Monitoring & Response Center.

Key Accountabilities (2)

·       Identify risks and coordinate with relevant units to propose methods to measure and minimize risks in the monitoring operations (security & non-security).

·       Ensure that team members fulfill their commitments on service quality and comply with the Bank's regulations and policies.

Your skills and experience

·       Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electronics and Telecommunications, Information Security or a related field.

·       A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Banking Application operation or Infrastructure operation or SOC Operation

·       Proficiency in one or many banking application like Corebanking T24, Card, Mobile Banking, ESB, Monitoring Tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Openseach, Grafana…)

·       Or proficiency in one or many Infrastructure and DB like AWS Cloud, IBM Power system, Vmware, EKS, DB (Oracle, Postgres…).

·       Or Proficiency in one or many Network & Security infrastructure like Cisco ACI/SDWAN, F5, Checkpoint, PaloAlto…

·       Or proficiency in SOC monitoring & response

·       Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Highly organized and responsible.

·       Capable of working under pressure.

·       Up to date with trends and developments in IT App/Infra/SOC Operation.

·       English, according to TCB's regulations in each period.
