About the role:

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-performance, scalable web applications that enhance user experiences. You’ll also mentor junior developers, contribute to code reviews, and drive best practices across the team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with modern front-end frameworks and cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic, agile environment.

Reporting line:

Product Owner

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-performing and scalable code using modern front-end frameworks.
• Conduct architectural design and development of front-end applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Build reusable libraries for future use.
• Collaborate with product managers to define and implement product features and improvements.
• Perform regular code reviews and unit tests to ensure high-quality code
• Project Refactoring: 
  • Lead the refactoring of existing ReactJs projects to enhance performance and maintainability.
  • Identify and implement best practices for code quality and architecture. 
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Technical Leadership: 
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. 
  • Advocate for and implement front-end development best practices across the team.

Your skills and experience

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in relevant positions
• Educational background in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong Experience with ReactJS, including component-based architecture.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, SCSS/SASS/CSS, Javascript/Typescript
• Proficient with version control systems such as GIT  
• Exposure to cloud-based architecture like Azure 
• Testing: Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Jest).
• Experience with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Babel, ESLint, Prettier)
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, and real-time web technologies (e.g., WebSockets) 
• Project Experience: Proven experience in refactoring and optimizing existing Reactjs projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology 
• Nice to have MES project experiences
• Good command of English
