The Petarainsoft(www.petarainsoft.com) is a rapidly growing Korean expert outsourcing company which specializes in 3D Graphics Programming (both on Web and Client Applications) and special SI (hospitals, waterparks and Korean government run research institutes). Join our team as a Mobile Game QA Engineer and dive into the world of mobile game testing! We seek detail-oriented individuals with a passion for gaming to strengthen our QA team. Your role encompasses ensuring the quality and stability of our mobile games. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of gaming mechanics, exceptional bug detection skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Game Testing Execution: Conduct thorough testing of mobile games, including functional, compatibility, and regression testing
• Bug Documentation: Accurately document and track game defects with clear reproduction steps, reproduction rate, and severity levels
• Test Case Development: Create and maintain comprehensive test cases specific to mobile game features and mechanics
• Quality Metrics: Monitor and report on game quality metrics, including bug severity, reproduction rates, and testing coverage
• Player Experience: Evaluate game balance, difficulty levels, and overall player experience
• Cross-Platform Testing: Test games across various mobile devices and OS versions

Your skills and experience

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in mobile game testing, mobile application and web service
• Previous experience in game QA is highly preferred
• Strong ability to write detailed test cases and bug reports
• Capable of determining bug severity, reproduction steps, and reproduction rates
• Experience with game-testing tools and bug-tracking systems
• Understanding of mobile game development processes
• Familiarity with both iOS and Android platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English
• Passion for mobile games and gaming industry

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases for game features, mechanics, and systems
• Identify and document bugs with detailed reproduction steps
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
• Provide feedback on game balance and player experience
• Collaborate with game developers to resolve issues
• Participate in game design reviews and testing planning
• Stay updated on mobile gaming trends and best practices

Working Conditions:

• Working hour: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Lunch Hour: 12:00 PM ~ 1:00 PM

Salary and Benefits:

• 13th month bonus
  • Pertaining to candidate’s personal performance of the previous year
• 12 annual leaves / year
• Review salary: 1 time in December per year
