Job description
We are an "old" startup company with IT & Insurance Experts developing our own Insurance Core System. We’re looking for a proactive Scrum Master to drive agility, collaboration, and efficiency within our development teams.
We are looking for 01 headcount for this role. You will:
- Act as contact point with clients and internal team members (BA/ Dev/ QC) on project status, risks and issues
- Lead and facilitate SCRUM meetings: sprint planning, daily meeting, and retrospectives.
- Remove Impediments: identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progress
- Guide and coach Agile teams on self-organization, cross-functionality, and the adoption of Agile best practices to enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Act as a bridge between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and promoting a shared understanding of project goals.
- Ensure Team Health: Monitor team dynamics, address conflicts, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze team performance metrics, providing insightful reports to stakeholders and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support Delivery Manager managing projects and following project resources and processes.
- Report directly to the CEO & Management Team. Have a chance to become a key member of the Management Team.
Your skills and experience
- 2–4 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an Agile software development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Good facilitation, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different team dynamics.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments
- Proactive in problem-solving and driving continuous improvement
