Job description
We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Front-end Engineer to join our dynamic team to build MVP from 0 to 1. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing user-facing features for our web applications.
At Puritype, you’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate closely with designers and back-end engineers, and directly impact our product’s success in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive, high-performance, and user-friendly web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into functional code.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Work closely with back-end engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on emerging front-end trends and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.
- Contribute to the product roadmap by providing technical insights and creative solutions.
Your skills and experience
- 2 years of experience in front-end development (or equivalent proficiency).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong experience with modern frameworks/libraries like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of responsive design principles and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Haves: (can discuss more about software language and technology)
- Experience with TypeScript or other typed JavaScript variants.
- Knowledge of state management tools (e.g., Redux, Vuex).
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
- Exposure to startup environments or early-stage product development.
- Basic understanding of back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python).
