Python Developer (OOP, Django)

Job description

• Develop and implement web applications and back-end services using the Python programming language.
• Code applications using Python to meet project requirements and specifications.
• Create large-scale data processing pipelines to facilitate the development and training of innovative machine learning algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and identify areas for improvement, implementing practical solutions as needed.
• Debug code as necessary and troubleshoot any Python-related queries.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Python development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in Python development best practices.
• Continuously optimize and refactor existing codebase to improve maintainability and efficiency.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development with Python, specifically utilizing PySide6 for desktop application development.
• Proficiency in PySide6 for developing GUI applications.
• Strong understanding of Python software development stacks and ecosystems.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with solid communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with popular Python frameworks such as Django, Flask or Pyramid.
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and tools.
• A working understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
• Contributions to open-source Python projects or active involvement in the Python community.
