Job description

Akila is looking for a Product Manager to immediately contribute to the development of our platform and help to ensure that what we are building is both state-of-the-art and achieves product market fit. You will be responsible for the development of our maintenance management product, ensuring that the facilities we provide asset management software to are able to both maintain their equipment effectively and have a high-level view of how maintenance relates to the overall operations and performance of a facility.

• Working directly developers, UI/UX, and QA in a scrum team as the product owner.
• Identifying new product requirements and driving their development by combining your experience with inputs from a variety of stakeholders, including internal business units, customers, and upper management.
• Developing product strategy and roadmap while ensuring alignment with the overall platform.
• Owning the entire product requirement process; including goals, initiatives, epics, features, and user stories / acceptance criteria.
• Managing web and mobile applications.
• Building product prototypes to communicate with designers more effectively.
• Managing partnerships and integrations with 3rd party software.

Your skills and experience

• 5 years of experience as a software product manager with experience in ERP, CMMS, or other enterprise software products.
• Hands-on experience with deploying CMMS solutions for customers is a plus.
• Experience in an Agile / Scrum environment as a product owner.
• Experience writing software requirements according to a BDD framework.
• Some experience in either software development or UI/UX, and able to demonstrate comprehension of both.
• Strong presentation, communication, and writing skills.
• Fluent English, Chinese is a plus.
