Are you an experienced Solution Delivery Manager with agile and digital product development experience looking for a change? Do you have a background leading multiple scrum teamsand a strong stakeholder management experience with a desire to take you career to the next level? If so read on.

What is the team?

Your team will represent the first HUB for the COE located in a purpose built environment designed for creativity and collaboration for Agile and Customer Centric delivery. This newly formed team is already working on group projects that are delivering services to Indonesia, South Africa and Vietnam. The current team is 30 people, including scrum masters, software engineers and QA.

What is the role?

We are looking for an experience and versatile Solution Delivery Manager who will be responsible for leading the delivery of multiple scrum teams building innovative and creative digital products to the market. Being a part of the HUB leadership team, supporting the growth of our people capability and technology brand in Vietnam. You will provide people, deliver leadership to the scrum teams and build strong stakeholder relationships with the product owners and business managers.


You'll have the opportunity in contributing to:

Leadership and Customer Engagement

  • Provide people and technical leadership to teams in your portfolio
  • Build relationships and provide superior service to your product owners and business owners.
  • Work with all IFS ES country teams related to the delivery and build relationships to support the successful delivery of business projects and initiatives.
Technical / Delivery
  • Lead and guide multiple teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of solutions to the market. This necessarily includes a quality focus including, security, performance and availability of these solutions.
  • Lead BAU and incident activities where needed for deployed solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver detailed delivery and people resource plans.
  • Escalate and remove blockers that may obstruct your teams and liaise with line manager when work is delayed or impacted.
  • Support the mitigation of risk across the solution delivery process to ensure operation is within groups risk appetite
  • Comply to all regulatory and government issued requirements (Australian, Vietnamese and CBA policy driven).
Capability Development
  • Manage your team members with structured training and development plans, bring in new skills (Based on customer demand) and cross train to remove single points of failure and ensuring training is completed by all staff.
  • Recruit, lead and manage the technology professionals responsible for solutions delivery.
  • Contribute to building the brand of the HUB in the community (e.g.: through Hack Days, public talks)
Continuous Improvement. Techniques and Processes
  • Drive common sense and industry-recognised continuous improvement mechanisms to uplift team and individual efficiency (e.g. Agile, LEAN productivity, Continuous Delivery).
  • Promote Agile and DevOps techniques and practices within your teams and to the business.
  • Contribute to and own where necessary the Delivery Services processes.

Yêu cầu công việc

  • At least 10-year experience in working in enterprise and digital domains
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams across all phases of the solution lifecycle (concept, analysis, design, build, integrate, test, deploy & optimize).
  • Experience in commercial grade solution design & deployment to large user bases.
  • Good English skill (write, read, speak and listen) and clearly communicate designs and plans to the team.
  • Strong customer stakeholder management and influence as well as mentoring and coaching experience.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and productivity through teams
  • Strong ability to grow capability uplift in modern software engineering practices, Agile and DevOps
