The SAP Solutions Architect participates in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team in support of the sales account strategy. The Solutions Architect is a consultative engagement role. Driving billable services for both the Consulting and adjacent business units is a primary objective. Being involved in a complete sales cycle from the stage of initial contact (cold calling/initiating the conversation with a client), lead and prospecting (ends once the sales is made).
In this position, you will be required to:
1. Product presentations and demonstrations
2. Support with technical qualification of sales opportunities
3. Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information(RFI) or a Request for Proposal (RFP)
4. Build custom demonstrations
5. Deliver Proof of Concepts(POC)
6. Provide first-line technical support for solution evaluations and/or pilot projects
7. Support at external and internal customer facing events
8. Assists with the qualification of the opportunities and/or identification of target accounts
9. understand the service delivery requirements per engagement or customer and ensure all requirements are well addressed
10. Liaise with various teams and individuals to ensure accurate and timely resolution of technical issues that may arise during the Solutions process
11. understand the scope of all Dimension Data offerings as they apply to each customer engagement
12. act as the primary liaison for the customer, ensuring current and future requirements are, and can be, met. Ensure accurate communication to the relevant stakeholders and teams within Dimension Data to complete the sale cycle.
13. Assists customer, prospect and Sales Representative to build a compelling and competitive business case and ROI (Return of Investment)
14. promote further Dimension Data services and products as appropriate
15. Manages hand-over to the Services Functions (Post-Sales Support and Professional Services) for live project implementation

Requirements:
Education, Training and Experience:
- Degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology)
Experience:
- experience in a customer liaison position
- IT and relevant knowledge and experience
