Responsibilities

• Balance business need/requirements against time, budget, quality, and technology
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate size, effort and time to achieve project objectives and negotiate estimation results with stakeholders.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project objectives.
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• When required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
• Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Define tasks/activities to achieve project objectives.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Follow the defined processes and policies.

Yêu cầu công việc

• Ability to broadly apply the art (balancing business needs/value) and science (formal training/framework) of the project management capability while delivering on strategic investments
• University degree in the field of information technology
• At least 03 years direct work experience in a software project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
• Certifications in Project Management Certification (PMP) are desired.
• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
• Familiar with programming languages, including .Net, and modeling languages (e.g. UML).
• Experienced in SQL Server.
• Competent in and proficient understanding of platforms, such as Windows, Windows Mobile.
• Have domain knowledge in EDI, Warehouse management, Order management, Payment processing, Logistics, e-Commerce, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
• Technically competent with various software programs, such as Power Point, Excel, Word, Visual Studio, TFS – Team Explorer.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Flexible during times of change.
• Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
