PLM Maintenance Senior (Java)

• System Maintenance: Monitor System Services, ensure that system errors are encounter and solve before affecting business activities
• User Support : Provide Level 3 Support for PLM
• Incident Analysis: Understand and define the Impact and Severity of the issue and determine the best course of action and appropriate incident escalation.
• Enhancements / Automation: Research and implement improvements to optimize system performance and when there are changes in processes and requirements from product development
• Deployment Tasks: Validate and deploy completed development packages from the Development team
• Training / Documentation: Perform System testing for Release Note
• Create/maintain technical documentation on how to use new developments/enhancements, etc. Training will also need to be provided to PLM Operations Team
• Software upgrades/ Patching/ Security deployment: Upgrade software versions and identify requirements and dependencies for software version upgrades.
• System Implementation:Support PLM development team to roll out new PLM applications/implementations: Hardware preparation, software installation and configuration
• Data Maintenance: Work with business to analyse potential data discrepancies/migrations, and work on developing tools / features that can support the business with better data maintenance moving forward
• Project Work: Assist and coordinate various on-going projects to ensure delivery is achieved on time: Perform System configuration, support hardware installation and business education.
• Cross-Functional interactions: Work with key internal and third-party contacts in other IT focus areas to work on cross-functional projects.

Education/ Professional knowledge:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineerin

Skill, Experience:

• At least 5 years’ Experience in Information Technology
• Experience in server/application administration and support.

Prefer competency:

• Engineering software (CAD/CAE/HPC) experience is beneficial
• Ability to understand new technology.
• 2-3 years working with Java web Frameworks/Technologies
• Good in batch script/shell & Database
• Understanding network topologies
• Proficient in English, written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of basic manufacturing processes (automotive preferred but not essential).
• Three or more years of experience in technical analysis and design
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. 
• Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal, communication, written and oral skills.
