Gear Games develops iOS/Android games with high concurrent users and heavy network traffic in global markets (US, Europe, Arab). Alongside game development, we also build web-based platforms to support and enhance our gaming ecosystem.

To keep up with our growth, we’re looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to design and optimize scalable, high-performance systems. You’ll play a key role in developing robust backend solutions that power our games/web projects.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new game features on the server-side.
• Identify, debug, and resolve backend issues to ensure smooth and stable performance.
• Collaborate with game developers, frontend engineers, and other teams to integrate backend solutions effectively.
• Support other backend tasks as needed, based on project requirements and management direction.

Yêu cầu công việc

Job Requirement:

• At least 3 years of experience in backend server-side, strong in C#/Java or NodeJS
• Experience with SQL relational database development: table design, query optimization and procedure creation
• Experience with No-SQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB,…)
• Strong knowledge of AWS (EC2, ALB, S3..) or Google Cloud Services
• Good communication skills in English
• Great attitude and work ethic

Nice to have

• Having experience with the caching system
• Having experience with AWS build CI, deployment, kubernetes
• Development experience in mobile games
• Having experience with APIs and system optimization

Working Location: Any office (Hanoi, Danang, Hochiminh)
