Information Details

For a solo builder, the pressure to launch a product early is often inversely related to the time invested in system security. Later on, handling real-world data and protecting user information will force you to rethink your entire development process, one that you previously used to keep fast and lean.

  • Speed on one side, security on the other. How do you balance these two?
  • Do you usually set security aside in the early stages, or do you try to build it securely right from the start?
  • Have you ever faced a situation where you had to rework everything because you built it too fast?
  • Looking back, would you change your building approach?
To get more votes and increase your chances of winning, your post should:
  • Share a real story and your personal perspective: what you did, what you thought, and how you see the issue in your own way.
  • Explain how you handled it: what worked, what didn’t, and what you learned along the way.
  • Leave value for the readers: A lesson, a methodology, or an actionable insight.
