Are you an experienced UX/UI Design Lead with a background in delivering engaging web, mobile and tablet experiences? If so read on.

What is the team?

You will be part of the team representing our first HUB for the Centre of Excellence (COE) based in Ho Chi Minh City. Our HUB is responsible for designing and delivering exciting fintech products for the CBA group and our customers. Our team is located in District 1 in a purpose built environment designed for creativity and collaboration for Agile and Customer Centric delivery developing fintech products to service our customers in Indonesia, South Africa and Vietnam.

What is the role?

We are looking for a talented, hands-on UX/UI Design Lead to work with a very energic team to deliver engaging user experiences and protoypes on Mobile and Tablet using Agile methodologies.  You will be part of a distributed UX Design team across Hong Kong, South Africa and Vietnam working in close collaboration to deliver world class UX/UI for new innovative fintech products for our customers.

To be successful in the role you will need to possess broad experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, user experience, user testing and visual design.

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Broad experience in user research, wireframing, prototyping, user experience design, user testing and visual design
  • Able to create world class user-centred design that takes into consideration research, business drivers, customer segments and usability feedback.
  • Collaborate remotely with product owners and business to translate business requirements into high-level customer experience requirements.
  • Design the UI architecture, interface and interaction flow of mobile and tablet applications.
  • Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications
  • Present design work to the team for review and feedback
  • Fluency in modern visual design and user experience best practices for web, mobile and tablet channels
  • Take team members and stakeholders on user experience journeys. Help them see, understand and empathise with the customers who’ll use the solutions they build.
  • Facilitate various workshops with stakeholders and project teams. From identifying assumptions through to co-design workshops exploring the possible and more.
  • Share knowledge with non-design staff to raise the overall level of design fluency within the organisation.

Your skills and experience

  • Minimum 6 years experience as a User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer or User Interface Designer
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a lead user experience role or equivalent.
  • Bachelor degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or equivalent.
  • Rapid prototyping; the ability to turn around rigorous wireframes and mockups quickly in an iterative environment; Comfortable with various methodologies from free-hand sketching to white-board facilitation to pixel-perfect wire framing
  • Demonstrated visual design expertise; capacity for creating fun, highly usable designs and layouts which are pragmatic and simple.
  • General understanding of how design impacts development; ensuring designs are not overly complicated and complex which could be coslty to develop.
  • Proficiency in a variety of design tools including Photoshop, Sketch, Invision and Zeplin.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • The ability to prototype using tools from Invision to code like HTML and Javascript.
  • Proficiency with mobile and tablet design standards (iOS and Android)
  • Excellent communication skills in English. (Mandatory)
  • Must be Vietnam resident or valid work permit
