The Job

Job Description: You will be instrumental in the definition, implementation, and execution of test automation strategy for our flagship retail product.  You will be responsible for the installation, set-up, and administration of automation testing platform and tools.  You will write and execute automated and manual tests against the features that are included in our releases.  You will also write and execute automated regression test suites against our product builds before releasing the final product to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Agile Team members (Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Quality Engineers) to create test plans and test cases according to the work item acceptance criteria
  • Design, build, develop and execute Automate tests for win app (with a large scale of clients)
  • Create and execute manual test cases/scenarios, perform tests including functional, integration, regression, and performance
  • Create test strategies for manual execution and automation scope in collaboration with team members and business partners to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Analyze test results and create test reports subsequently communicating reports to various stakeholders
  • Actively participate in team discussions, design workshops, Release/Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos, Sprint Retrospectives
  • Research and resolve issues or provide possible solutions
  • Participate in code reviews to track, analyze and resolve defects
  • Collaborate with the research of techniques and tools related to software testing

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or related engineering discipline (not required, talent is welcome) 
  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices and tools are required
  • 3+ years of experience in software automation (mainly 60%) and manual testing (40%)
  • Knowledge of full system development life cycle
  • Has knowledge about the keyword-driven framework is a big plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to determine and resolve root causes, experience debugging code
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
